Madhya Pradesh Board Exams 2024: Chief Minister Unveils Laptop Incentive for Class 12 Students Scoring 60% and Above

In a recent development, Madhya Pradesh’s Chief Minister, Shivraj Singh Chouhan, has unveiled a new initiative for government school Class 12 students, declaring that those who achieve a remarkable 60% or higher in the upcoming MP Board Exams 2024 will be entitled to receive laptops.

Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan made a significant announcement on Sunday, revealing that Class 12 students in government schools across the state would now receive laptops if they achieved a commendable score of 60% or higher in the upcoming MP Board Exams 2024. This marks a notable shift from the previous requirement of a 75% score.

CM Chouhan disclosed this development during his address at a ‘Ladli Behna Yojana’ event in Gwalior. Additionally, he pledged that the top three students in both urban and rural schools would be awarded scooters as a recognition of their academic excellence.

Furthermore, the Madhya Pradesh government had previously disbursed a total of Rs 196.6 crore into the bank accounts of 78,641 students who had achieved a 75% or higher score in the MP Board Class 12 exams, enabling them to purchase laptops.

CM Shivraj Singh Chouhan expressed his commitment to supporting children’s education, emphasizing that students who attain a minimum of 60% in the 12th board exams in the coming year would be eligible for laptops. He also outlined the government’s ‘Meghavi Vidyarthi Yojna,’ which would cover higher education fees for medical, engineering, or management colleges.

The Madhya Pradesh Board of Secondary Education (MPBSE) has officially announced the exam dates for MP Board Exams 2024 for both Classes 10 and 12. According to the released schedule, MP Board 10th Exam 2024 is set to take place from February 5 to February 28, 2024, while MP Board 12th Exam 2024 will occur from February 6 to March 5, 2024. Students preparing for these examinations can access the detailed timetable on the board’s official website at mpbse.nic.in.
