On September 15, 2023, Warner Bros. released the official trailer for the highly anticipated fantasy action film, ‘Aquaman And The Lost Kingdom.’ Directed by James Wan, this movie serves as a direct sequel to the 2018 hit, ‘Aquaman.’

In the trailer, viewers get a glimpse into the complex life of Arthur Curry, portrayed by Jason Momoa, as he navigates the responsibilities of marriage, parenthood, and his role as Atlantis’s ruler. However, the peace is disrupted as the vengeful Black Manta, played by Yahya Abdul-Mateen II, emerges as a formidable adversary.

The film’s plot revolves around Aquaman joining forces with his incarcerated half-brother Orm, portrayed by Patrick Wilson, the former King of Atlantis, to thwart Black Manta’s quest for vengeance. Black Manta wields the formidable Black Trident, making him a formidable opponent.

‘Aquaman And The Lost Kingdom’ is slated for release on December 20. The screenplay is crafted by David Leslie Johnson-McGoldrick, based on a story by James Wan, David Leslie Johnson-McGoldrick, Jason Momoa, and Thomas Pa’a Sibbett.
