In a remarkable display of box office prowess, Shah Rukh Khan’s latest film ‘Jawan’, directed by Atlee, has notched up yet another impressive milestone. Early estimates reveal that the film raked in a staggering Rs. 110 crores worldwide on its second day, marking two consecutive days of triple-digit earnings. While there was a slight chance of missing the mark on Friday, the film comfortably surpassed expectations.

This achievement places ‘Jawan’ in the elite company of blockbusters like ‘Baahubali 2’, ‘RRR’, ‘KGF 2’, and ‘Pathaan’, all of which have had multiple days crossing the Rs. 100 crore mark. Notably, ‘Baahubali 2’, ‘KGF 2’, and ‘Pathaan’ have achieved this feat on four separate occasions, while ‘RRR’ managed it thrice. ‘Jawan’ is set to match the former three with four such days by the end of the weekend.

Remarkably, Shah Rukh Khan now holds the distinction of being the only Bollywood star with six century days to his name, a number that is poised to increase to eight by Sunday.

Here’s the breakdown of ‘Jawan’s’ day two worldwide box office collections:

  • India: Approximately Rs. 64 crores
  • Overseas: Approximately Rs. 46 crores (USD 5.50 million)
  • Worldwide: Approximately Rs. 110 crores

Please note that these figures are preliminary estimates, and actuals will be posted shortly.

‘Jawan’ is on track to breach the Rs. 500 crores mark in worldwide gross in just four days, an impressive feat that puts it ahead of ‘Pathaan’, which took five days to reach halfway to Rs. 1000 crores. The year 2023 is shaping up to be a historic one for Shah Rukh Khan, with two monumental successes, ‘Pathaan’ and ‘Jawan’, and the eagerly anticipated ‘Dunki’ set to captivate audiences this Christmas.”
