Vijay Deverakonda Shares Marriage Intentions Amid “Kushi” Film Promotions; Addresses Parental Pressure
Vijay Deverakonda is actively engaged in the promotional activities for his upcoming romantic movie “Kushi,” where he shares the screen with Samantha Ruth Prabhu. Amid his portrayal of a husband in the film, the actor’s personal life and marriage intentions have become topics of discussion. During a recent promotional event, Deverakonda candidly disclosed his stance on marriage and the expectations exerted by his parents.
Pressure from Parents Regarding Marriage As a guest on the popular Telugu reality show “Neethone Dance,” Vijay Deverakonda participated in the promotional activities for “Kushi.” In a brief promotional clip circulating on social media, he was questioned about his prospects of getting married. In a light-hearted manner, he responded that his family is eager for him to settle down, marry, and provide them with grandchildren in the near future.
Deverakonda jestingly commented, “My family members have been urging me to marry. My mom and dad are eager for grandchildren. But I am not interested. That’s why I jokingly suggested to them that they should get married again.”
This isn’t the first instance of Deverakonda discussing marriage plans. During the trailer launch of “Kushi,” he had conveyed his readiness for marriage and acknowledged the likelihood of marrying in a couple of years. He mentioned, “I have been finding partners for a while. I have not been ready for marriage. I think now, maybe in a couple of years.”
About “Kushi” The romantic comedy revolves around the unconventional love story of Viplav and Aaradhya, portrayed by Vijay Deverakonda and Samantha Ruth Prabhu. Directed by Shiva Nirvana, the film is produced by Mythri Movie Makers. It marks a significant collaboration between Samantha and Vijay, following their brief appearance together in “Mahanati,” featuring Keerthy Suresh.
