Elon Musk, one of the world’s wealthiest individuals, has discreetly become a father for the third time with partner Grimes, with the child named Techno Mechanicus, as unveiled in an upcoming Musk biography, “Elon Musk,” detailed in a New York Times book review.
The New York Times briefly alluded to Musk and the “Genesis” singer’s child, affectionately referred to as “Tau.” However, specific details about the newborn, including the birth date, remain undisclosed.
Musk, 52, and the Canadian electro music artist Claire Boucher, known as Grimes, aged 35, had an on-and-off relationship from 2018 to 2022. The couple already shares two children: a 1-year-old daughter named Exa Dark Sideræl, lovingly known as “Y,” and a 3-year-old son named X Æ A-12.
Elon Musk, also the owner of X (formerly Twitter), now has 11 children with three different women. In May 2018, their relationship came to light, starting with Musk’s intention to make a Twitter joke about artificial intelligence, only to find Grimes, real name Claire Elise Boucher, had made a similar joke.
The couple welcomed their first child, X, in May 2020, followed by the birth of their second child, Exa Dark Sideræl, in December 2021. However, they parted ways a few months after the birth of their daughter via surrogacy.
Recently, Grimes made a plea to Musk in a now-deleted tweet, urging him to allow her to see her son. She mentioned her lawyer’s involvement and expressed her distress over not having seen photos of her children until then.
