He stated that the Haryana Skill Development Mission has positively impacted more than 80,000 young individuals.

In a recent announcement, Haryana’s Chief Minister, Manohar Lal Khattar, unveiled plans to host 200 job fairs in 2023. Emphasizing the importance of self-reliance and self-respect for youth development, Khattar addressed job fair beneficiaries during the ‘CM Ki Vishesh Charcha’ initiative through an audio conference.
Since January 2019, the state has organized 1,450 job fairs, resulting in 31,217 youth securing employment opportunities. Khattar revealed that 200 additional job fairs would take place this year.
In the government sector, Haryana has already generated 1.14 lakh jobs, with plans for an additional 56,000 government positions for the youth. This commitment aims to provide a total of 1.70 million jobs, with further efforts underway to employ two million young individuals.
Khattar highlighted the government’s merit-based and transparent approach to creating over one million government jobs. Additionally, various schemes have been implemented to foster employment and self-employment opportunities in the private sector.
Under the Haryana Skill Development Mission, more than 80,000 young people have benefited, while the establishment of Shri Vishwakarma Skill University aims to provide industry-focused training and education to the youth.
