BGMI Masters Series (BGMS) Season 2 witnessed an eventful third day during League Week 2. Numen Esports displayed their dominance, securing the fourth position in the Points table for the season. As the teams vie for a chance to qualify for Super Weekend 2, only three matches remain in League Week 2.

The BGMI Masters Series 2023 adopts a format where the 24 participating teams are divided into three groups of eight. Over the course of four days, a round-robin competition takes place, featuring a total of 12 matches or three matches daily during the qualification week. The top 12 teams, in addition to the leading four from Super Weekend 1, will proceed to Super Weekend 2. This anticipated phase is scheduled to unfold from August 18 to August 20.

The third day of competition featured Group A and Group B matches. Velocity Gaming kicked off the day with an impressive victory, securing both the “Winner Winner Chicken Dinner” and 10 finish points. Numen Esports and Lucknow Giants followed suit in the subsequent matches, securing their positions in the BGMS Points Table.

BGMS Season 2, organized by NODWIN Gaming and Star Sports, marks the return of India’s largest esports competition. Commencing on August 4, the second season of the BGMI Masters Series features a whopping prize pool of INR 2.1 crore (over USD 250,000) – one of the most substantial for a non-publisher event.
